Oracle Linux: "Invalid Version Flag: Or" when updating package (Doc ID 2756874.1)

Symptoms

When updating yum package using "# yum update <package>", an error is being encountered:

[root@hostname yum.repos.d]# yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=ol7_x86_64_latest update yum
