Goal

The target of this document is to provide guidance on how you extract an Oracle Virtual Appliance from an Oracle VM Server environment. The use case is where a customer wants to move an Oracle Virtual Appliance from one Oracle VM Server to another. This process was run and captured using an Oracle Private Cloud Appliance but could be used on any Oracle VM Server environment.
