Symptoms
An Oracle Linux (OL) system is fitted with a hardware RAID controller. In this instance, the affected system happens to be an Oracle Server X7-2 system running Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) OL6.10 UEK4 fitted with a Broadcom LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i SATA/SAS RAID Controller. Upon restarting the system, the system fails to boot. The following messages are reported to the system console.
