OCNE: Kubelet Failing To Pull Images From Private Mirror Container Registry On Kubernetes Control And Worker Nodes (Doc ID 2958626.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Cloud Native Environment (OCNE), issue of kubelet failing to pull images from private mirror container registry is noticed on Kubernetes Control and Worker nodes.

Following is the error message noticed in /var/log/messages system logs of Kubernetes control and worker nodes at the time of the issue.

In some cases, we may notice issue of 502 bad gateway as well when pulling the images.

Due to this issue of kubelet not able to pull the images from private mirror registry, deployment of kube-system and any application pods on kubernetes cluster would fail.
