Symptoms

On Oracle Linux 7 server running on an engineered system, user with username oracle exists both locally and at AD domain level. This user fails often causing authentication issues in the server.

From /var/log/secure :

Changes

 A user oracle is created locally recently whilst an existing user oracle was already existing in the AD domain.
