In Oracle Cloud Native Environment 1.6 and later versions, issue of istio module installation failing with "Could not unmarshal the response from the agent after setting the state of istio: invalid character" error message is noticed. Below is the error message which is shown on the console when installing the istio module.

At the time of the issue we do not see any issues when running olcnectl module create and module validate commands to create and validate the istio module. However, olcnectl module install command to install istio module fails with "invalid character" error message.
