This note is applicable for latest ocfs2 version 1.4-10 and 1.6 and 1.8.
Symptoms
You remove the network cable(s) from an OCFS2 cluster node and the server, or it's peers, are evicted from the cluster i.e. OCFS2 node panic or restart occurs.
Changes
One or more network interface cables are removed from the OCFS2 cluster node.
One or more network interface cards are brought down or the networking service itself is stopped on the OCFS2 cluster node.
