EGL: What Does The Error "Reversal Date Is Invalid Or Non-Working Date" Mean? (Doc ID 1088134.1)

Symptoms

When processing journal edit on a journal that is marked to automatically reverse at the beginning of the following period, we get an edit error.  

What does the error "Reversal date is invalid or non-working date" mean?
The date should be valid.
The message also says that there may be a journal/reversal with same id how do we resolve this?
