Last updated on JULY 03, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ISSUE 1:
The mouse over functionality is displaying the terminated manager for an employee, instead of the current active one.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
------------------------------
1.- Go to Workforce Administration / Job Information / Job Data and search for an employee.
2.- Use the mouse over functionality on the name of the employee. This will show the current manager.
3.- Go to Workforce Administration / Job Information / Job Data and search for the manager.
4.- Add a new row for termination and save the changes.
5.- Go to Workforce Administration / Job Information / Job Data and search for another employee.
6.- Add a new row and transfer this employee to the position of the terminated manager. This employee will become to the current manager of that position.
7.- Go to Workforce Administration / Job Information / Job Data and search the employee of the step 1.
8.- Use the mouse over functionality on the name of the employee. The manager displayed is the terminated one.

ISSUE 2:
In Job Data the mouse over pop up shows the manager of Employee Record 0 no matter what Employee Record the user is viewing.  The other fields in the pop up display the information for the current record, for example the title and department change for that particular Employee Record.

ISSUE 3:
Mouse overs that bring up an employee photo bring up a previously-viewed photo (of another person) as often as they bring up the correct one. This happens anywhere in the system that a dotted line appears under the employee name, such as in Job Data.  This occurs even after applying Bundle#3, where similar issue was fixed.

ISSUE 4:

On HRMS 9.1 Workforce administration, when the Manager for a Position is on Leave of Absence (LOA), when user hovers over the pop up, the same manager appears.

STEPS TO REPLICATE ISSUE
------------------------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Select an active employee and take note of the manager
2. Add a leave of absence row to the manager
3. Select a new manager and add a row and change the Position same as the earlier manager on Leave of absence
4. Retrieve the employee again
** notice the pop up still reflects the old manager
