Goal
When the customer runs the W4 Exempt Renewal Process, it is sending out e-mail notifications to deceased, retired and contingent workers as well as setting the 'Notification Sent' radio button on Employee Tax Data. The App Engine process is only looking at empl_status 'T', but deceased and retirees are 'D' and 'R' respectively. It also is not looking to see that PER_ORG = 'EMP' so if an employee was terminated and then added as a contingent worker, it will also notify them regarding their W4 status. When TAX103.SQR runs, it is inserting a new effdt row to change the Special FWT Status to 'None' for those employees who still have their notifcation sent set on the their Tax Data record. This causes an audit issue for the customer.
