Purpose
This Knowledge Document explains:
- What to check when inventory transactions are not being costed by the following processes:
* Releases < 8.4: 'Transaction Costing' process (CM_COSTING) (navigation: Manage Costs, Reconcile Inventory, Process, Transaction Costing)
* Releases 8.4 to 8.8 SP1: 'Transaction Costing' process (CM_COSTING) (navigation: Cost Accounting, Inventory and Mfg Accounting, Create Accounting Entries, Inventory Transaction Costing, Transaction Costing)
* Release >= 8.8 SP1: 'Cost Accounting Creation' process (CM_CSTACCTG) (navigation: Cost Accounting, Inventory and Mfg Accounting, Create Accounting Entries, Cost Accounting Creation) with the 'Cost Inventory Transactions' check box selected - The top reasons why inventory transactions are not being costed,
- SQL statements you can use to help you resolve missing cost issues.
