Goal

Qn1:

If a scheduled job to be set up combining JGEN & EDIT which will run after midnight, is it required to change the run control each day to specify the 'From' and 'To' dates?  As an example, the journals are dated for 3/15/11. The scheduled job will not run until after midnight, 3/16/11.  If we use 'current date' as the option, will it process the 3/15/11 journals or will it look for 3/16/11 journals?

Qn2:

'Process Date' option is chosen on JGEN run control page &  on the General Ledger Definition > Journal options page, process date option chosen as specify date. So now, the specific date can be updated to 'today's date' after nightly processing and keep it at 'today's' date all day until the next batch of nightly processing has completed around 8 AM.
Can the Maintain Process Date be run at 8 AM every morning to update to the current date as the process date ? Or this needs to be done manually for each business unit ?

Qn3:

When process date is changed, what are the additional processes apart of JGEN & EDIT, which would be affected ?

Qn4:

If 'current date' option is chosen, will JGEN process the 3/15/11 journals or will it look for 3/16/11 journals?
