Case 1:

After tools upgrade from 8.48 to 8.51, Intermittently some App Engine processes start to abend with variant kind of error, as it tries to run incomplete SQL against the database. Restarting the process scheduler with cache clear fixes this issue. However, it keeps coming back after a few days/runs.
