In the 'Reservation/Backorder Rules' page (navigation: Inventory, Fulfill Stock Orders, Fulfillment Rules, Reservation/Backorder Rules), there is a check box called 'Notify When...'. Selecting it allows the system to send a Notification when the criteria specified in the Rule is met. In the 'Message Text' field, you can enter a specific message to be included in the notification.
