E-AWE: Configuring AWE Process Definition Step Criteria, so the Notification & Escalation (NEM) Will Advance to Next Step When Run (Doc ID 1499169.1)

Symptoms

ISSUE STATEMENT
---------------
Assistance needed to configure the Approval Framework Notification & Escalation (NEM) Time out processing such that when NEM is run, the Approval will Advance to the Approver of the next step in the process.

GL Journal Approval is the AWE process configured for NEM.  In a 5 Step GLJournalApproval process, with specifiic Monetary range for each step.

 
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When the NEM program is run, the Journal Approval does not advance to next step's Approver.
 
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
---------------
Expect the NEM process to advance to the next step's Approver when original Approver has not approved transaction in timely manor.
 
ENVIRONMENT

Application Release & Bundle: FSCM 9.1
Environment: Development
 
STEPS
---------------
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Clone the GLJournalApproval Process to include 5 steps, with this type of Monetary criteria on step;

GL_LEVEL1 $0 - 499
GL_LEVEL2 $499 - 999
GL_LEVEL3 $1000 - 2000
GL_LEVEL4 $2000 - 3000
GL_LEVEL5 > $3000


2. Generate Journal, wait for time out period to pass.
3. Run the Notification & Escalation (NEM) process.
4. Observe the comments generated when the Approval is not advanced;

Approver 'VP2' failed to act in time, but is the last approver, so was not skipped.

 
IMPACT

Unable to meet requirment for time out processing and advancement to the next level.
