Symptoms

ISSUE STATEMENT
-----------------------
The XML Publisher transcripts times out when the Process Request button is clicked on the Transcript Report Request component.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Report request times out for students who have enrollment data, but works for freshmen with fewer courses, but it takes some time to process.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the transcripts to finish processing in an acceptable time irrespective of the enrollment data for the student.

ENVIRONMENT
---------------
DB Platform - N/A
Tools Version - N/A
Application & Version - PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions release 9
System Name - Test

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Records and Enrollment - Transcripts - Request Transcript Report.
  2. Click on the Process Request button
  3. Notice the request times out and never completes.
