EAM: AMIF1000 not populating the BOOK, BOOK_HIST, COST tables for Book linked to Translate Ledger (Doc ID 1551931.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Asset Management - Version 9.1 to 9.1 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

If multiple Books create Accounting Entries in more than one Ledger Group, then, when an asset is added, the Transaction Loader program (AMIF1000) does not create the rows in the PS_COST, PS_BOOK, and PS_BOOK_HIST tables for a Book that is linked to a Translate Ledger. The ADD Open Transactions are created for all Books, and the PS_COST, PS_BOOK, and PS_BOOK_HIST rows are created for any Book that is not linked to a Translate Ledger.

If the Asset is created through the online pages, BOOK, BOOK_HIST, and COST rows are created for all books.
If the Asset is created through the interface, BOOK, BOOK_HIST, and COST rows are not created for a book that is associated with the Translate Ledger.
