User changes the decimal places of Amount field from 2 to 5 in Setup > Configure > Amount field. It resets back to 2 decimal places again when user goes back to verify the setting.
Although the decimal rounding is still occurring based on the setting of 5 decimals, the displayed setting as 2 decimals, which is misleading.
Steps To Replicate:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open jrnl1.xlsm
2. Go to Setup > Configure > Field Format for FOREIGN_AMOUNT, MONETARY_AMOUNT, STATISTIC_AMOUNT
3. Change the decimal places of Amount field from 2 to 5 and click 'Apply'.
4. Save jrnl1.xlsm.
5. Go back to verify the decimal place again for amount fields and it is reverted back to 2.
