HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE_SRV Component Interface Not Accepting Valid Value (Doc ID 1620662.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to enter a value "S" for JPM_CAT_ITEM_QUAL field - in CI HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE_SRV.JPM_JP_CAT_TYPE(1).JPM_JP_CRITM_VW(1).JPM_JP_ITEMS(1).JPM_CAT_ITEM_QUAL,
the following error occurs.

Error changing value
HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE_SRV.JPM_JP_CAT_TYPE(1).JPM_JP_CRITM_VW(1).JPM_JP_ITEMS(1).JPM_CAT_ITEM_QUAL (91,34)


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Opening Component Interface HJPM_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE_SRV - component interface tester
- Click on “Get History Items” and “Edit History Items” (the behavior is same with or without this step)
- Enter in KUHM01 in EMPLID and perform a Get Existing
- Navigate through levels to get to PERSON COMPETENCY at JPM_JP_ITEMS
JPM_JP_CAT_TYPE - JPM_JP_CAT_TYPE(1) - JPM_JP_CRITM_VW - JPM_JP_CRITM_VW(1) – JPM_JP_ITEMS – JPM_JP_ITEMS(1)
- Enter in "KX1001" in the JPM_CAT_ITEM_ID field
- Enter in "S" in the JPM_CAT_ITEM_QUAL

It will then give Invalid Value error and the Error changing value.
