EAM: Incorrect Depreciation when the In Service Date is changed to earlier than the existing In Service Date

Symptoms
Total depreciation in the DEPRECIATION table does not equal total cost in the COST table after the asset's in service date is changed to be earlier than the current in service date.
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1) Add an Asset with a Non-Depreciable Category:
Transaction Date - 03/05/2013
Accounting Date - 07/05/2013
In Service Date - 03/05/2013
Cost - 60,000.00
Depreciate When In Service - No
Calculation Type - Remaining Value
Non-Depreciable Category -- LAND
Convention -- FM (Following Month)
Adjustment Convention -- AM (Actual Month)
Retirement Convention -- AM (Actual Month)
Method -- SL (Straight Line)
Life -- 60
2) Recategorize the Asset to a different Non-Depreciable Category
Transaction Date - 14/05/2013
Accounting Date - 14/05/2013
Category -- WIP
3) Recategorize the Asset to a Depreciable Category
Transaction Date - 23/09/2013
Accounting Date - 23/09/2013
Category -- ME
4) Change the In Service Date to a later date
Transaction Date - 23/09/2013
Accounting Date - 23/09/2013
In Service Date - 01/07/2013
Depreciate When In Service - Yes
Calculation Type - Life To Date
5) Change the In Service Date to an earlier date and change the Life
Transaction Date - 06/12/2013
Accounting Date - 06/12/2013
In Service Date - 01/06/2013
Depreciate When In Service - Yes
Calculation Type - Life To Date
