EGL9.2: Users not Able to Add Additional Links to the Queries Pagelet Personalization Page in GL WorkCenter. (Doc ID 1934908.1)

Symptoms

Steps to Replicate:
---------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Sign in with user VP1 (administrator).
  2. Navigate to Enterprise Components > WorkCenter/DashBoards > Configure Pagelets and open General Ledger WorkCenter.
  3. 'Allow User to Personalize the Display Options' and 'Allow User to Add Additional Links' are both enabled.
  4. Click on Access link and make sure ‘Public’ is NOT checked for all queries.
  5. Click on ‘Activate Queries Settings’.
  6. Go to the GL WorkCenter and note there is no query available. This is correct because not a single query is Public right now.
  7. Go to Personalize and there is no option to Personalize anything and also no option to add any link.
  8. Sign in with user GLS1.
  9. Go to the GL WorkCenter and note there is no query available. This is correct because not a single query is Public right now.
  10. Go to Personalize and there is no option to Personalize anything and also no option to add any link.
  11. Sign in with user VP1.
  12. Click on Access and make one query Public (GLC7501_TOTALS).
  13. Click on ‘Activate Queries Settings’.
  14. Go to the GL WorkCenter and note there is one query available. This is correct because there is only one Public query.
  15. Go to Personalize and this time there is an option to personalize and also there is an option to add any additional link(s).
  16. For this test I will not save the new link, I will delete it again.
  17. Sign in with user GLS1.
  18. Go to the GL WorkCenter and note there is one query available. This is correct because there is only one Public query.
  19. Go to Personalize and this time there is an option to personalize and also there is an option to add any additional link(s).


Actual Behavior:

Users are not able to add additional links to the Queries Pagelet Personalization page if there is no public query available.

 

Expected Behavior:
---------------------
Users should be able to add additional links to the Queries Pagelet Personalization page if there is no public query available.
