EGL92: Journal With Foreign Currency In Balance Is Out Of Balance On Base Currency After Running The Journal Edit Process (Ledger Group Missing Date Code) (Doc ID 1957526.1)

Symptoms

Imported journal that are in balance by foreign amounts using only one foreign currency different than base currency are not in balance after running edit. Journal is loaded with only foreign amount and expecting edit to create base amounts.

Also, rounding adjustment line can not be created when entering the same journal as a manual journal.

GBP business unit
Ledger group had only one ledger in it, with inherit base of business unit
line 1 CAD 16937 debit
line 2 CAD -5895.98 credit
line 3 CAD -11041.02 credit

entered from on line
exchange rate used 2.29206767


Expect journal that is in balance by foreign amount to be in balance by base amount when importing only foreign amount and then running through edit to create base amounts.

However, after ran through edit the imported journal that is in balance by the foreign amounts is not creating a journal in balance by the base amounts.,
