EGL: Interunit/Intraunit Processor Performance Issue At IU_PROCESSOR.U300 When Processing Journal Entries

Environment Production

Performance issue: Initial feedback indicates that when running large interunit journals through edit, when the IU_PROCESSOR is called from GL Journal Edit Program the steps IU_PROCESSOR.U300seq.rowproc and IU_PROCESSOR.U300upd.saveprev are taking time to process due to which the program take more time to execute. Usually 90% of execution time taken in the steps mentioned above.

The Main Source of this Performance Issue is Looping at the following Step/ Action in the Application Engine. (IU_PROCESSOR.U300Seq.RowProc) (Do Select)

 There are some journals where-in there are about 400,000 Intra-Unit lines and this particular Loop Takes days to complete.
