Regenerate reported time for absence entry not working on Exception workgroup employee. Customer was not using Absence Management only using Base Benefits Leave TRC's.
PeopleBooks needs to clearly state that the checkbox on the TL Installation page for 'Regenerate Reported Time for Absence Entry' is specific only to Absence Management Time Reporting Codes. Time Reporting Codes designated as Leave Taken are not considered as 'Absence' type codes and payable time is not created to complete the schedule. If TRC defined as 'Leave Taken' is reported as 3 hours on a day the employee is scheduled for 8 hours only 3 hours would be paid. In order to make the employee whole you need to also report 5 hours of Regular along with the 3 hours of Leave. This is not the case if the TRC is an 'Absence Management' trc.
The workgroup check box setting of 'Create Partial Work Hours for Partial Absence' is also specific only to absence management TRC's and should be stated clearly.
There have been several customers trying to use these settings for Leave type TRC's and reporting issues with the functionality. This is why PeopleBooks needs to be updated to clearly state this.
