Symptoms

When adding Requester Items to a new requisition a message pops up indicating the supplier item uom price does not exist when in fact it does. Please see attachment from steps in our 9.2 PUM 5 demo environment for error and a trace file from our development environment. In the trace file you can see that the qty_min is being set to 0 so when the system looks to pull in the information from the itm_vndr_uom_pr table it does not find any rows to place in calc_price_wrk.qty_price field so the system throws this message which is incorrect.

the supplier item price was not setup, or the corresponding UOM doesn't meet the minimum requirements. The item standard price is used instead


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new requisition
2. Click on Requests Items link
3. Select an item from the list.3. Click OK
4. Error issued: Supplier item price is not available - use item standard price. Line 2, Item 10002 (10200,197)

The supplier item price was not setup, or the corresponding UOM
doesn't meet the minimum requirements. The item standard price is
used instead.
5. Validate that the item does have a supplier price
6. Save the requisition and the correct price is brought in.
