EAP: Pay Cycle User Preferences Page No Display Tab in PeopleTools 8.54 (Doc ID 2033578.1)

For the Pay Cycle delivered page at the User Preferences set up level (Page OPR_DEF_TBL_PYCYCL), the usual Pay Cycle TAB and Pay Cycle LINK features are no longer properly displayed with PeopleTools 8.54 Version.

While all the pages within the User Preferences component are being defined in Application Designer as Standard Pages, the Pay Cycle is the only one defined as Secondary Page. While this has never been a problem, with the release of PeopleTools Version 8.54, the handling of Secondary Pages seems to have been modified, and as such, the page is no longer displaying the navigation features properly anymore.

STEPS

1. Navigate to: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > User Preferences > Define User Preferences

2. Enter User ID VP1

3. Click on SEARCH button

4. Once the User Preferences main page is displayed, proceed to click on the Pay Cycle link

The Pay Cycle page (OPR_DEF_TBL_PYCYCL) gets displayed, but not its corresponding TAB or LINK.

For consistency purposes, the system should display delivered User Preferences - Pay cycle page (OPR_DEF_TBL_PYCYCL) with proper TAB and LINK features, no matter which PeopleTools Version the FSCM Application is using.
