Symptoms
When an applicant is made inactive through Merge Duplicate Applicant process, the source Applicant ID is made inactive and data from the source applicant is copied to the target Applicant ID. The inactive applicant is still able to login to Candidate Gateway careers site.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Merge two duplicate applicants using Merge Duplicate Applicant process
2. Login to Careers site for the inactive applicant
3. The login is successful and in My Activities of careers site, the submitted job opening is still present.
