EAR9.1: Credit Card Process Does Not Take Into Consideration the Credit Profile Limit (Doc ID 2048879.1)

Symptoms

On : 9.1 version, Credit Card Payments

When attempting to use the credit card profile and run the Credit Card process with Accounts Receivables Business Unit different than Deposit Business Unit ,
the system does not take into consideration the credit card profile and creates worksheets in “Unprocessed/Retry” status.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


- SCENARIO 1 - AR Business Unit different than Deposit Business Unit –

  1. Create new credit card profile
  2. Setup of the Debit/Credit Approval Limit, of the Credit card profile on tab ‘Bank/Payment Options’ on the Receivables Definition on business unit A, of the Credit card profile on tab ‘Bank/Payment Options’ on the Receivables Definition on business unit B
  3. Access the Correspondence Options on customer, click on “Credit Card” link on the customer and enter Card data
  4. Access Bill to Options on Customer and the set up “Payment Method” to “CC” (Credit Card)
  5. Add a new Online Item on unit A
  6. Put the amount under the limit that is setup in the credit card profile
  7. On “Pending Item 2” tab select pay Method = “Credit Card”
  8. Post the item
  9. Check the new item
  10. Run the “Credit Cards Process” by using Deposit Business Unit different than the AR Business Unit (ARCRCARD); The worksheet is in “Unprocessed/Retry” status


- Scenario 2 – same Business Unit, amount lower than the limit --

  1. Add an online pending item on business unit A; Put amount lower than the limit
  2. On Pending Item 2 tab select Pay Method ‘Credit Card’
  3. Post the item
  4. Run Credit Card Scheduler with AR Business Unit = Deposit Business Unit
  5. The status for the new worksheet is “Unprocessed/Retry”


- Scenario 3 – Different Business Unit, Amount higher than the limit --

  1. Enter Online pending item with amount higher than the limit; Payment Method = Credit Card
  2. Run Credit Card Scheduler for deposit Business Unit different that AR Business Unit
  3. Item was selected and sent for authorization and settle process
  4. Status of Worksheet “Unprocessed/Retry”


- Scenario 4 – Same Business Unit, amount higher than the credit profile limit --

  1. Enter Online item with amount higher than the credit profile limit, on unit A
  2. Run Credit Card Scheduler AR Business Unit = Deposit Business Unit
  3. Item selected and set for authorization and settling; Worksheet created and it requests User Approval; The new worksheet is in “Pending Approval” status


- Scenario 5 – Deposit BU = AR BU and customer has credit card profile (customer CC profile limit < AR CC profile limit) --

  1. Create Credit Card Profile (customer CC profile limit < AR Credit Card profile limit)
  2. Assign the credit card profile at Customer level
  3. Create new item with amount above the customer credit card profile limit
  4. Run Credit Card Process
  5. The created worksheet is pending approval


- Scenario 6 – Deposit BU different than AR BU (Customer has Credit Card Profile) --

  1. Create new card profile
  2. Assign the new card profile at customer level
  3. Enter new item
  4. Run credit card process (Deposit Business Unit <> AR Business Unit)
  5. The worksheet is Unprocessed
