Last updated on MAY 07, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.55 to 8.55 [Release 8.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Issue Statement:
******************************

There are two scenarios in which this can occur:

Scenario 1 - Customer is on PT 8.55.01 - 8.55.02, and trying to create an ExcelToCI template based on the CURRENCY component interface, but the collections are not structured correctly.
All cells for the Level 1 collection are gray, and the L1 collection record type shows as 000 instead of 100.

Scenario 2 - Customer is on PT 8.55.03 - 8.55.17, and trying to upload a record using FSCM VNDR_ID_EXCEL CI. The customer has the original code fix reported in Bug 22724154. Uploading the data results in the following error.

'Property or collection VNDR_LOC_SCROL was not found in the component interface at the given level.'

Environment
********************
PeopleTools 8.55.01 - 8.55.02, or PeopleTools 8.55.03 - 8.55.17 for scenario 2.
PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 PUM 15, FSCM 9.20, or another PeopleSoft application

Actual Behavior (scenario 1)
*************************
The cells are all gray, and the L1 collection record type shows as 000 instead of 100.

Expected Behavior (scenario 1)
***************************
Both L0 and L1 properties are shown in the correct colors/rendering, and that the L1 collection record type shows as 100, not 000.

Error Message (for scenario 2)
***************************

'Property or collection VNDR_LOC_SCROL was not found in the component interface at the given level.'

Steps To Reproduce:
**************************

1. Open the ExcelToCi spreadsheet, fill in the connection information.
2. Download the CURRENCY CI template

For scenario 2, use a complex CI such as VNDR_ID_EXCEL and PT 8.55.03 or later. After downloading the template and setting up the data, upload the data.
