Symptoms
When running journal post process, for journals coming from different sources like third party applications, sub-systems Peoplesoft , Spreadsheet Journal or Online journals, the process goes to error even after passing editing and the journal is in Valid status.
Issue also occur with year end close GL_YC process which invokes journal posting.
SQL Error 805 occurred at GL_JP_POST.ProcLedg.Upsert (ignoring)
(GL_JP_POST.ProcLedg.hRetCode) (Call Section GL_JP_POST.hRetCode)
Process xxxxx ABENDED at Step GL_JP_POST.ProcLedg.hRetCode (Action Call Section) -- RC = 805
ROLLBACK
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure a custom Journal Generator/ create an online journal entry
2. Run journal generator/ save the journal
3. Edit the journal
4. Post the journal
