Symptoms

On :  8.55 version, Push Notification

Push Notifications will not stop despite being turned off at the Application Server and Process Scheduler level.

At the Application Server level, the Push Notifications parameter is set as follows:
 Push Notifications = NO

At the Process Scheduler level, the Push Notification parameters are set as follows:

Domains Gateway = NO
Push Notifications = NO

The PROD Web Profile has had its EnablePNSubscriptions property set to EnablePNSubscriptions=false

Despite doing all of the above, it appears as if Push Notifications are still active.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. For the Web Profile in use, set EnablePNSubscriptions=false

2. In the PSAPPSRV.CFG file for the Application Server domain, set the Push Notifications parameter to Push Notifications = NO

3. At the Process Scheduler level, set the Push Notification parameters as follows:

    Domains Gateway = NO
    Push Notifications = NO

4. Note that the At the Application Server level, set the Push Notifications parameter as follows:
   Push Notifications = NO

5. Note that despite making the above changes, Push Notification logic continues to fire.
