Goal

Question 1

What are the product's limitations regarding the number of fields and/or size of a form?
The last field "Senior Director" added is the 26th one and when I try to preview the form I get the error "The form field "Senior Director" cannot be mapped to the storage record".

Question 2

On Step 3: Form Fields page, the fields are not displayed in the order as they are in the database (PS_FD_SD_GRPFLD table).

Question 3

We have several forms that we would like to build, but the approval will be based on the data entered.
Is it possible to create workflow based on the form data? For instance, we need specific approver to approve specific business units.

Question 4

a) The emails provide very basic information on a form for approval. To see the details of the form, one must click the URL to route to the form to see the form data. Is there a way to include the form data on the email approval notification?

b) Upon final review, can an email group be sent an email with the details of the form stating the form was approved?

Question 5

I would like to use Business Unit as a filter to populate the approver field. Since there is only one row for the business unit in my table, is there a way to populate both fields once the BU is selected. The only way I could get the approver data pulled into the form was to create separate views for each related field.

Question 6

a) There is a Form that is Inactive. It has no activity and I want to modify the form which is <In Design> mode. However, when I get to the Form Fields page, the delete ('-') buttons are greyed out. So I can’t delete a field.
Is there some special security associated with enabling the minus button to delete the field or since the form was activated, then in-activated, it can’t be deleted from the form?

b) Why is there no SAVE button on the screen? I had to activate the form to save my changes, otherwise I would lose my changes.

Question 7

When I add a field with a Prompt Use Type, the dropdown Length only has a handful of values (4, 5, 10 and 20). If I use a field that is defined as 70 characters, I’m getting the error "Invalid value – press the prompt button or hyperlink for a list of valid values (15,11)." I tried to add 70 to the Translate Values for the field SD_FLDLEN, that defines the prompt value lengths, but it does not show up in the dropdown.

How can I get the prompt to return a 70-character value?

Question 8

Why can't clicking on the bubbles (Design Form Step Number circles) take you directly to the page that relates to that step? Is that security/setup related?
