Field Required Error When Submitting a Name Change Through Self Service (Doc ID 2256765.1)

Symptoms

An employee is receiving the error below when trying to initiate a Name Change:
Field is required: NAMES_SS_TMP - NAME_TYPE

Upon researching, this employee doesn't have any data in the NAMES_SS_TMP.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Self Service > Personal Information > Name Change
2. Note Display Name is blank, click 'Edit Name' Button
3. Enter New Name, note Display Name is updated
4. Click Submit and note the above error is displayed

Changes

Tax Updates through 16E and ACA updates through Image 21 were applied to a PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 PUM Image 16 with PeopleTools 8.53.15 environment.
