Negative Values Display as Positive In Pension Processing Trace

Symptoms
When Pension Processing Trace is used, negative values for variables that use the AUDIT_DISPL_FLD to display show as positive in the log file for Pension Calculations or Periodic Processing.
STEPS
---------------------------
1. Set up a Pension Processing Trace (Navigation: Set Up HCM > Product Related > Pension > Utilities > Pension Processing Trace).
2. Define a Pension Calculation that would have a negative value for a variable that will display in the log file (Navigation: Pension > Calculations > Define Calculation).
3. Run the Calculation (Run This Calculation, link).
4. Review the log file (Navigation: PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Process Monitor, Details link, View Log/Trace link).
