ETL9.2 :WORKFORCE AVAILABILITY DOESN'T SHOW AN ABSENCE APPROVED FOR CANCELLATION

Workforce Availability Questions
We are testing HR9.2 up through PUM Image 23 and are looking into opening up Workforce Availability for Managers to use as a new tool. I am reviewing the 'Away from Work' section and how it categorizes the absences. I have a few questions here. I tried PeopleBooks and can find no information on it.
When an approved absence is then submitted for cancellation by the employee and then approved by the Manager through the Approvals Tile, if I go into Workforce Availability and look at the schedule for the day the absence was originally on, it still shows as Time Off even though the absence was canceled. It also appears in the Unapproved Absence section of the Away from Work category even though it was already approved for cancellation by the Manager.
I am hesitant to open Workforce Availability with these issues as it will cause confusion.
Workforce availability should show an absence approved for cancellation.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
a. The employee decides to cancel their 09/12/2017 absence. They submit the
absence for cancellation my going to Employee Self Service Homepage>Time
Tile>Cancel Absence. The absence appears here for cancellation. The employee
then hits Cancel Absence
b. Once the employee submits the absence for Cancellation, the Manager goes in
to the Manager Self Service Homepage>Approvals Tile>Cancel Absence and clicks
on the specific absence listed. He then approves the cancellation
c. The Manager can verify the absence was canceled by going to Manager Self
Service Homepage>Team Time Tile>View Requests and click on employee and locate
d. Manager navigates back to Manager Self Service Homepage>Team Time
Tile>Workforce Availability to view his employee.
a. Under the Scheduled section, he can see the employee still shows Time Off
for 09/12/2017 even though the Manager just approved the cancellation of the

absence is now located back in the Unapproved absences area even
though we have approved it for cancellation and I would think it just should not
show up at all.
