Symptoms

In PeopleSoft Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2, when ACA files were submitted to the IRS, the following type of error was received for all employees:

ERROR

<ns2:ErrorMessageCd>1095C-047</ns2:ErrorMessageCd>
<ns2:ErrorMessageTxt>Form 1095C 'ALEContactPhoneNum' must have a value.</ns2:ErrorMessageTxt>

STEPS
-----------------------
1. Create ACA XML Files (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files).
2. Submit the files to the IRS.
