When running Statutory Reports > General Ledger > Trial Balance - Analytic/Summ with Exclude Closing Journals checked ON, it appears no different than when checked OFF.

---------------
1) Run Statutory Reports > General Ledger > Trial Balance - Analytic/Summ with Include Analytic Accounts checked ON
2) Run Statutory Reports > General Ledger > Trial Balance - Analytic/Summ with Include Analytic Accounts checked OFF (you will see no difference in the reports)
