PT 856 installation error through DPK

Running the PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 Deployment Package (DPK) results in the errors below when "Active Directory" is enabled.

ERROR

(err): Could not set gid on user[psadm1]: Execution of '/sbin/usermod -g 1606403610 psadm1' returned 6: usermod: user 'psadm1' does not exist in /etc/passwd

(err): Could not set gid on user[psadm2]: Execution of '/sbin/usermod -g 1606403610 psadm2' returned 6: usermod: user 'psadm2' does not exist in /etc/passwd

(err): Could not set gid on user[psadm3]: Execution of '/sbin/usermod -g 1001 psadm3' returned 6: usermod: user 'psadm3' does not exist in /etc/passwd


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 DPK in an environment with "Active Directory"
2. Proceed with default options (no customization.yaml).
3. Error occurs with psadm1/2/3 users, install fails.
