Symptoms

When a Canadian employee who is contributing a Flat Amount (not a percentage) to a Savings Plan is paid both regular earnings and bonuses, which are taxed on different bases, the employer match does not calculate correctly.

STEPS
---------------------------
1. Enroll employee in Savings Plan (Canadian) with flat contribution (Navigation: Benefits > Enroll in Benefits > Savings Plans).
2. Create paysheets (Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing CAN > Create and Load Paysheets > Create Paysheets).
3. On the employee's paysheet, add a bonus (Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing CAN > Update Paysheets > By Payline).
4. Calculate the paychecks (Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing CAN > Produce Payroll > Calculate Payroll).
