(Doc ID 2488225.1)
Last updated on APRIL 15, 2024
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll for North America - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
An employee whose work location changed in June of this year, but they didn't change their place of residence. In other words, they still live in Quebec but from Jan to June 1, they worked in Quebec, from June 2 to present they work in Ontario.
Their PSTI amount is still being charged at the 9% Quebec rate instead of the 8% Ontario rate. Is this correct expectation? For example, "QC Tx Ben" stopped being charged when they started working in Ontario, but the PSTI amount remained being charged at 9%.
