Last updated on JANUARY 02, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Absence Request is in saved status auto approving (self approving), when timesheet submitted.

The issue occurs only when one Absence request exists for the pay period for employee in saved status.

If multiple saved absence requests exists, they remain in saved status after successful submission of timesheet.

Since Customer does not have reported time approval, the system auto approving employee's absence request in error.

REPLICATION STEPS
=================
1. Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence Management >Country Take - "Allow Entry in Time and Labor" checkbox selected to allow absence event entry on the Timesheets page in PeopleSoft Time and
Labor.
2. Employee is assigned to the Workgroup that doesn't required approval.
3. Save absence request on timesheet.
4. Submit time and the saved Absence Request gets submitted and self approved.

Is there any configuration available to not to submit the Absence request from timesheet?
