Last updated on JANUARY 07, 2020

Symptoms

On : Campus Solutions 9.2

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When building fa term, records been identified where the total units taken and/or passed are lower than they should be, and in some cases even negative. This in turn seems to be because the term calculated the Total TC Adjust but no other transfer units

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Total units should be accurate and never be negative

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Build FA Term
2.Run query SELECT distinct a.emplid
FROM ps_stdnt_car_term a
WHERE a.tc_units_adjust > 0
AND EXISTS
 (SELECT 'x' FROM ps_stdnt_fa_term b WHERE a.emplid = b.emplid and b.tot_taken_fa < 0
 )

WHAT IS WORKING
-----------------------
The issue only occurs in the situation where the cumulative statistics have been reset on the Records side, before the problem term being built, such as for students returning for a 2nd bachelor's degree
