GP_PAYE Fails with Unique Constraint Error When Running the Absence Management Calculation Process (Doc ID 2523373.1)

Symptoms

When running the Absence Management Calculation (GPPDPRUN, which includes sub process GP_PAYE) the process fails with the following errors:

Application Program Failed
 In Pgm Section : GPPIDNT7: XE000-INSERT-SEG-STAT
 With Return Code: 00805
 Error Message : ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_GP_PYE_SEG_STAT) violated
 
Application Program Failed
 In Pgm Section : GPPIDNT1: XA000-CALL-GPPIDNT7
 With Return Code: 00805
 Error Message : ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_GP_PYE_SEG_STAT) violated
 
Application Program Failed
 In Pgm Section : GPPSERVC: LJ000-CALL-IDENTIFY-PGM
 With Return Code: 00805
 Error Message : ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_GP_PYE_SEG_STAT) violated
 
Application Program Failed
 In Pgm Section : GPPDPRUN: JA000-CALL-SERVICE
 With Return Code: 00805
 Error Message : ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYSADM.PS_GP_PYE_SEG_STAT) violated


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Identify and Calculate Calendar
2. Run Calculation/ReCalculation and note above errors are returned
