EAM: The System Incorrectly Calculates Depreciation and Net Book Value When an Asset Was Previously Recategorized Using the “RCT – Recategorization” Mass Transaction

Symptoms
The system incorrectly calculates depreciation and Net Book Value when an asset was previously recategorized using the "RCT - Recategorization" Mass Transaction.
1. Add an asset with Profile ID AUTO, Amount 10 000Click Acq details tab
2. Click Acquisition Details Chartfields link
3. Add at 1st line Fund Code = F100
4. Enter trans date of 10/02/2000 and leave accounting date as defaulted - 10/02/2018, Click Capitalize and then Click Save
5. On Asset Acquisition Detail Tab, Click plus sign to add a new line
6. Enter amount 1000 and Click Acq details Chartfields link
7. Enter a different chartfield than 1st line (e.g. P1002)
8. Click Capitalize and then Click Save
9. Run Depreciation Calculation
10. Notice that Asset is fully depreciated with no $0 net book value
11. In order to recat only this asset ID, select Asset ID in the mass transaction criteria go to:
Main Menu >> Set Up Financials/Supply Chain >> Product Related >> Asset Management >> Mass Transaction Manager >> Mass Transaction Criteria
12. Navigate to: Asset Management >> Asset Transactions >> Mass Transactions >> Run Mass Transactions
Choose RCT - Recategorization as the transaction.Remember to enter original transaction date of the asset 10/02/2000 and then Run the process.
13. Navigate to Asset Management >> Asset Management WorkCenter >> select Business Unit Transaction Loader (64) - Run AMIF1000
14. Run again Depreciation Calculation
15. Observe the Depreciation is incorrect, Net Book Value is negative amount
