Symptoms
When a life event is created by the employee, the date picker needs to be clicked on twice before the calendar pops up, this is true even on the Benefit summary page for IE 11.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to the Employee Self Service > Life Events start page, select a Life Event and select the calendar
