Issue with updating person profiles using excel to CI.

I'm trying to add education information on existing person profiles in the system.
CI_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE is the component interface I'm using in the excel to CI. However I'm unable to update any data with this CI.
I'm getting an error on an upload - Property or collection JPM_JP_CAT_TYPE was not found in the component interface at the given level.
I have searched and found similar issues on other service requests, but no definite solution. could you help?

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. add education information on existing person profiles in the system.
CI_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE is the component interface I'm using in the excel to CI.
2. However I'm unable to update any data with this CI.
3. Observe error
