When logging in as an employee and attempting to start a Life Event, the following error is triggered:

You already have a life event in progress.
Complete or Cancel that life event before starting a new one. Contact your administrator if you need help.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Employee Self Service homepage > Benefit Details tile > Life Events.
2. Select a Life Event type.
3. Enter the date of the event.
4. Click the Start Event button.
