EGM - Grants Portal Application Engine GM_PT_STAGE Abends at Step GM_PT_STAGE.KKSource.GetKKLog With a Unique Constraint Error (Doc ID 2603792.1)

Symptoms

When Commitment Control is enabled for Grants, the Grants Portal Staging process, GM_PT_STAGE, fails with a unique constraint error at SQL step GM_PT_STAGE.KKSource.GetKKLog attempting to insert into a temporary table, PS_GM_PT_PBD_TA34.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Grants > Grants Portal > Staging Data > Stage Award/Project Data
  2. Create a run control that specifies an Awards Business Unit (BU) and a value for the Include Closed Awards field within 7 days. No Projects BU should be entered.
  3. Run the process.
