Last updated on SEPTEMBER 26, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Deleting multiple Fluid Position Management sequenced rows does not delete all the rows from Job Data . Job Data rows should be deleted when corresponding Fluid Position Management sequenced rows deleted

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Workforce Administrator Dashboard > Position Management Tile ->Manage Position
Search for any position with incumbent and with sequenced rows , For example : August 1, 2019 has two sequence rows 0,1.

2. Delete August 1, 2019 sequence 1 row with Action/Reason XFR from Fluid Position Management
> Job Data: No change in Job Data

3. Delete August 1, 2019 sequence 0 row with Action/Reason UPD from Fluid Position Management
> Job Data: August 1, 2019 sequence 1 row is deleted, however sequence 0 is not deleted.

As a result , the incumbent job data on Fluid Position Management last effective row is incorrect , contains August 1, 2019 sequence 0 row
