After Running Direct Reports Table Build for Managers, Terminated Employees Remain in Direct Reports Table (Doc ID 2614483.1)

Last updated on MAY 05, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After Running the Direct Reports Table Build for Managers, Terminated Employees Remain in the Direct Reports Table.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Process: Direct Reports Table Build for Managers
Navigation: Set Up HCM >Common Definitions > Direct Reports for Managers > Direct Reports Tables Build
    App. Engine program: HR_DRPT_BLD.

2. Enter run control parameters as follows: Build Mode to Full - Complete Rebuild and Access Method - 2 Supervisor ID.

3. Upon completion, there are terminated managers who no longer have any direct reports still appearing under the manager they report to.

Note: Also attempted running an incremental after the full rebuild. There were 3 current effective dated job rows for entirely different employees that were picked up to process in the incremental.
Upon completion, the PS_HR_DIRECT_REP_2 table that originally had 19248 rows from the full rebuild, was reduced to 34 rows of data. Virtually all direct reporting was deleted. So the incremental doesn't appear to work correctly either, and the full leaves terminated managers still showing up under their original manager.
